Jana Hennen Burr, assistant superintendent of District 728, will speak about the state of the school district’s curriculum Wednesday, April 20 at noon in Perkins restaurant in Elk River.
The talk is sponsored by the Elk River Citizens League, and is open free to the public.
Luncheon orders will be taken at 11:30 a.m.
Hennen-Burr is expected to talk about anticipated problems the district might face, how the district is preparing kids for the future, innovations in learning and whether the curriculum has been damaged by the amount of school funding the school district gets.
