Baseball: Elks blanked 7-0 by Stong, Andover

Brett Stong was way to strong for the Elk baseball team Saturday.

The Andover pitcher struck out 10 batters and allowed just four hits as the Huskies blanked the Elks 7-0 in Andover.

Pat O’Donnell was 2-for-4 with two RBI for Andover and Nate Stong was also 2-for-4.

Brandon Meyer pitched five innings for the Elks allowing three runs (two earned) while going 2-for-2 at the plate.

Brady Givens and Ben Svardahl pitched the seventh, when Andover tacked in four runs.

The Elks (1-1) will play at Blaine on Wednesday.
