Rollover sends woman to hospital

A 25-year-old Zimmerman woman had to be extricated from her Chevy Colbalt after rolling the vehicle Wednesday afternoon along Highway 169 in Elk River.

The Minnesota State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the accident at 3:30 p.m. Elk River Fire was called to help with extrication.

The woman was transported to Mercy Hospital, according to a spokesperson for the Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident, a single-vehicle rollover, was one of several on local roadways after the latest snowstorm made for miserable driving conditions.
