A benefit for Randy Kolles will be held Saturday, March 26, from 2 to 11 p.m. at McPete’s Sports Bar & Lanes, 590 E. Humbolt Drive, Highway 10, Big Lake. Randy Kolles is a devoted husband, father and sole provider to his wife, Erin, and five children. The family is from the St. Michael/Albertville area.
On Christmas Eve his life drastically changed. He was diagnosed with an inoperable, aggressive, stage 4 glioblastoma (brain tumor). His treatment includes daily radiation and chemotherapy.
The financial responsibility for him and his family is going to be challenging. The funds from this benefit will go to help pay their expenses.
Fund-raising efforts will include $5 pp bowling from 2–4 p.m., photo fun booth and face painting from 3–6 p.m., silent auction from 4-6 p.m., taco bar from 5–7 p.m., bucket drawings from 7–9 p.m., beer bust from 7–10 p.m. ($20 wristband and ID’s required for all ages) and musical entertainment by Shane Martin with full band.
Donations can be made to The Bank of Elk River. Please address donations to the Randy Kolles Benefit Fund.
