Coming events: Rogers band concert set for Monday
The Rogers High School Band will present a dinner concert on Monday evening to help raise money for the band program, which includes jazz band, concert band, and symphonic band, announced director David Biegler. For those who want the meal, the cost is $7. Otherwise it’s free. The RHS Band Boosters are having the event catered by Davanni’s in Rogers.
•Katie McMahon, Irish singer and harpist, will bring her band and troupe of Irish dancers to Elk River on Friday, March 18, at Zabee Theatre, 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available from the Arts Alliance. Visit elkriverart.org or call 763-441-4725.

•Command Performance, a girls choir based in Elk River, will present “Pirates and Princes,” a concert of Disney music complete with costumes, on Sunday, March 13, at Zabee Theatre.
•The next Youth Theatre Workshop production will be “Sleeping Beauty,” slated to open April 29.
•River Valley Percussion Theatre, the drumline featuring students from District 728 schools, will have one home show, March 26 at Rogers.
