Jeanette Marie Carron, 93

Jeanette Marie Carron, 93, of Otsego, died at The Wellstead of Rogers Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, of pneumonia (Alzheimer’s/dementia).
She was born in Mindoro, Wis. Jan. 1, 1918, to Gilbert and Melissa (Hicks) Paisley. She graduated from Mindoro Union Free High School in 1937.  She moved to Minneapolis in 1940 and worked at G&K Cleaners, where  she met Raymond Carron. They were married June 27, 1942.
From 1963–1983 she worked and then retired from the Cornelius Co. of Anoka. In addition to farming the couple owned and operated Carron Bus Service from 1962–1978.
Mrs. Carron was a longtime member of the St. Albert’s Council of Catholic Women (CCW).
She stayed on the farm until 2001, then moved into St. Benedict’s in Monticello, lived there to 2008 and moved to The Wellstead of Rogers.
According to her family, “Jeanette will be remembered for her wonderful baking; … being a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Albert’s, loading up the car and heading to the cabin on Maple Lake and out on the lawn mower wearing one of her many hats …”
The funeral service was Monday, Feb. 21 at St. Albert’s Catholic Church, Albertville, the Rev. Xavier Thelakkatt officiating.  Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Casketbearers were Peter DeMars, Ryan Carron, Brent Carron, Dennis II McAlpine, Chrysann Carriveau, Deann Gagnon, Roxann Wardarski and Denelle McAlpine.
Mrs. Carron is survived by son, Randy (Debbie), Otsego; daughters, Donna (Dean) Carlson, Monticello, Diane DeMars, Dayton, and Denise McAlpine, Crosslake;  eight grandchildren;  eight great-grandchildren;  four step-grandchildren;  three step-great-grandchildren; sister, Idonis Jorgenson of LaCrosse, Wis.;  nieces and nephews and their spouses and children; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; brother, Archie Paisley; sisters, Helen Mickelson and Norma Schlifer; and son-in-law Carl DeMars.
