Hockey: Elk star Curtis garners two Star-Trib honors

Jonna Curtis picked up a couple of Star-Tribune honors on Tuesday after leading Elk River to the state tournament in girls hockey.

Curtis, with 47 goals and 24 assists for the 20-8 Elks, was named to the All-Metro third team. The junior forward was also one of the paper’s athlete-of-the-week picks after scoring 8 goals in three section games.
