Basketball: Park Center clips Elk boys 72-51

Quinton Hooker sank 26 points as Park Center handed Elk River a 72-51 loss on Friday evening on their court.

The Pirates (7-9 conference, 8-13 overall) had 11 players score.  Treyton Daniels was next with 10.

Elk River was led by Ben Erickson with 23 points. Erickson was coming off a 40-point game in an overtime loss to Anoka on Tuesday.

Tucker Morrell added 14 for the Elks (2-14 conference, 5-17 overall).

Elk River will host Andover on Tuesday.
