The Monticello Magic prevailed 41-38 over the Rogers Royals on Friday evening.

Grace Sawatzke hit 13 points and Terae Demarais 12 for the Magic (5-9 conference, 12-12 overall).

Emily Reichert netted 13 and Jordyn Motter 12 for the Royals (5-9 conference, 12-12 overall).

The game was tied 23-23 at halftime.

Rogers will play at Cambridge-isanti on Tuesday.
