Basketball: Bison girls stymie Rogers 51-33

The Buffalo Bison dominated the second half and handed the Rogers Royals a 51-33 loss on Friday evening in Rogers.

Emily Spier hit 10 points, Alexa Thelman 9 and Rachel Mussell 8 for the the Bison, who led 17-15 at the half, but ruled the second half 34-18.

The Bison are 11-1 in conference and 18-3 overall,  second behind STMA (12-0) in the Mississippi 8.

Emily Reichert and Shelby Beach with 7 points each were high for Rogers (5-7 conference, 11-11 overall).

The Royals will play at Big Lake on Tuesday evening.
