Wrestling: Elks drub Park Center 60-10, finish 2nd in conference
Elk River wrestlers wrapped up a second-place finish in the NWSC by drubbing Park Center 60-10 there Thursday evening.
Zang Vang, Jake Staffenhagen, Eric Stevens, Holton Lubinski, Corey Collins, Abe Williams and Kyle Wiemann had pins.
The Elks were 8-1 in the NWSC behind only Coon Rapids. They take a 9-5 record overall into the Section 7AAA tournament Thursday at Blaine starting 4 p.m.
In the power-packed section the Elks will likely be a 5 or 6 seed
