Wrestling: Elks 2-3 in busy two days

The Elk River wrestlers won two and lost three in a busy dual meet schedule Friday and Saturday.

The Elks hosted a triangular on Friday,  defeating Centennial 35-32 in a conference match and losing 50-9 to Foley.

On Saturday in the Brainerd dual meet tournament, the Elks beat Irondale 36-31, then lost to Milaca 50-14 and Rosemount 47-20 to finish fourth.

Eric Stevens won all five matches over the weekend.  Corey Collins won four of five.

The Elks, 7-1 in the NWSC and 8-5 overall, will close the regular season with a dual meet at Park Center on Thursday evening.
