Otsego City Clerk Tami Loff recently earned her certification as a Minnesota municipal clerk.
It is a three-year training through the Municipal Clerks Institute and is acknowledged by the state.
Loff began at Otsego in 2003 as an administrative assistant and was promoted to deputy city clerk in 2007.
She became Otsego’s city clerk when former City Clerk Judy Hudson retired in March 2009.
Though qualified for the position, Otsego City Administrator Mike Robertson says the training Loff achieved “improves her knowledge and skills, which is a benefit to the city on a daily basis.”
