Wrestling: Rogers, Spectrum-Legacy see action in tourney

The Spectrum/Legacy wrestling team hosted a nine-team invitational on Saturday.

Spectrum/Legacy placed eighth and Rogers placed ninth among 10 teams. Sartell-St. Stephen placed first.

Spectrum/Legacy’s Paul Nolden won the 119-pound title with 3 wins including 8-2 in the finals over Brad Johnson of Rockford. Alex McDonough placed fourth at 125.

For Rogers, Tim Beach placed third at 119, Michael Voorhees placed third at 145, Kyler Swansonplaced  fourth at 135, and Ryan Lien placed fourth at 215.
