Hockey: Blaine tips Elk boys 4-3

The Blaine Bengals scored twice in the last three minutes and handed the Elk River Elks a 4-3 loss on Saturday evening in Blaine.
Jesse Norling notched two goals, and Dylan Lambert had a goal and three assists, to lead Blaine (9-3-1 conference, 12-5-2 overall).
Jonny Brodzinski tied the score 3-3 on a power play goal with 2:33 left, and Norling’s goal with 1:43 left gave the Bengals the lead.
Robby Pullar and Taylor Bryan scored power play goals and Michael Katchmark scored even-strenthg for the Elks ( 6-6 in the NWSC and 8-11 overall.)
Anders Franke of the Elks made 23 saves and Nick Malvin of the Bengals made 13 saves.
Elk River will host Coon Rapids on Thursday evening.
