Wrestling: STMA whips Elks 58-4
The Elk River wrestlers were humbled by St. Michael-Albertville 58-4 at home on Friday evening.
STMA is ranked No. 3 in Class 3A and will be the favorite in Elk River’s section. The Elks, who were missing two of their top seniors, are 6-2 in dual meets and ranked No. 11.
Eric Stevens had the lone Elks win, a major decision at 140.
The Elks will host Armstrong on Tuesday.
