Scarlett Grace Fougner was born Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at 7:29 a.m. to Emily and Jon Fougner of Mankato.
Although Scarlett was born without a heartbeat, she touched many of our lives and hearts forever.
Visitation will be held today (Saturday, Jan. 29) at 1 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School St., Elk River, with the memorial service following at 2 p.m.
Arrangements were made by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home and Crematory of Faribault.
Scarlett is survived by her parents, Jon and Emily; maternal grandparents, Mike and Kim Thiry of Elk River; paternal grandparents, Deb Knight of Plymouth and Scott (Kelly) Fougner of Detroit Lakes; aunts and uncles; cousin, Grant Kirkpatrick; godparents, Aimee (Vince) Siirtola of Elk River; great-grandmothers, Grace Bergh and Barb Thiry, both of Duluth, Lois Fougner of Woonsocket, S.D., Eileen Hanks of White Lake, S.D., and Grace Knight of St. Louis Park; and by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, James Bergh, Clifford Thiry, John Hanks, and Howard Fougner; and her two infant cousins.
