Basketball: Thunder boys nip Big Lake 66-64

The Zimmerman Thunder edged Big Lake 66-64 on Friday evening in Big Lake.

Blake Ehley netted 14 points, Gavin Doppler 13, and Brandon Giese 12 to lead the Thunder (2-3 conference, 9-4 overall). Caleb Lunning and Ethan Lunning chipped in 7 apeice.

Brian Larson sank 19 points and Michael Stephens 17 for Big Lake (4-2 conference, 8-5 overall).

Zimmerman will play at Cambridge-Isanti on Tuesday.
