Franken visits Salk to tour STEM magnet
Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., visited with Ben Tran and some of his classmates at the Salk Middle School pre-engineering magnet program, about their upcoming History Day projects as part of a tour of the Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) school.
On Franken’s left was teacher Ron Hustevedt, Zoua Yang, Megan Hetterick, Ciib Yang, and Xaitheng Yang. The senator asked the students questions in the school’s media center on Tuesday, Jan, 18.
