The Elk River swimmers came out of the holiday break with a 94-80 win over Robinsdale Armstrong at home on Thursday evening, staying undefeated in dual meets.

The Elks won 10 of the 12 events, led by senior Friend Bechtel , transfer student from Idaho who won the 50 free and backstroke and led off the winning medley relay.

The meet highlight was two Elk 400 freestyle relay teams in a close 1-2 finish in 3:32.13 and 3:32.25.

“Those were two amazing times,” said coach Denise Eidem.

The Elks (3-0) will swim at the Spring Lake Park Invitational on Monday.
