Hockey: Royal boys lose to Burnsville 5-1
The Rogers boys hockey team lost to Burnsville 5-1 in the final day of the Schwan Cup hockey tournament Friday afternoon, finishing 0-3 in the event.
Zach Hnath had the goal for Rogers, assisted by Neal Smith and Bryan Jungles.
Mason Wyman notched two goals for Burnsville (5-2-2), which outshot the Royals 33-20.
Bodhi Engum made 19 saves for Burnsville and Keaton Mumm made 28 for Rogers.
Rogers finished the 2010 portion of the schedule with a 3-5-1 record after the three losses at Blaine, all by 5-1.
The Royals will play at Cambridge-Isanti on Thursday evening.
